What to Expect
Consult for a Comprehensive Assessment
First, we’ll schedule an complimentary 30-minute phone consultation where we will review what brought you to pursue testing.
- During the consultation, we will discuss and determine the best assessment service that will bring us to the most comprehensive and accurate answer to any concerns.
- You will receive a follow-up email with the contract.
- A comprehensive intake form will be mailed to you and testing will be scheduled.

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna and Aetna private insurance. Otherwise, we are private pay.
HOW LONG WILL THE EVALUATION TAKE?
There are several factors that affect the length of the evaluation, this being age, processing speed, overall ability, and extraneous factors such as frequent breaks. Testing begins at 9:30am and could take anywhere between 3 and 7 hours depending upon the length /extent of the assessment protocol.
For longer evaluations, we will take a 45 minute lunch break. Additional short breaks will be taken as needed. Bringing a snack and beverage is encouraged- it can be a long day of testing. A snack always helps.
HOW SOON WILL I GET MY REPORT?
The report will typically be returned within 4-5 weeks after the completion of testing. This is largely dependent on a few factors including: when all the necessary paperwork, interviews and questionnaires have been completed and returned.
Testing
Payment is required in full on the day of testing. Check and credit cards are accepted. Parent(s)/Guardian will meet with Dr. Sciaba for a zoom parent interview prior to the day of testing. The necessary paperwork, forms, and questionnaires will be mailed before the interview. It is requested that all forms and questionnaires be completed and returned on the day of the evaluation. If teachers or outside specialists are asked to complete questionnaires or provide information, the client will receive a release of information form. The final report will not be released until receipt of all additional questionnaires. You will receive an encrypted pdf document of the final report.
